Born in London, raised in Virginia Beach and a Charlottean since 2006, Ankoor graduated from James Madison University and was a small business owner before becoming a developer. He oversees the development, branding and operations of B-Side Group and is the “ideas guy” behind the concept.
Originally from Ohio but a Charlottean since1980, Kamal attended West Charlotte High School and UNC Chapel Hill. He had a 20-yearcareer in investment banking before becoming a developer. He oversees the finances and business strategy of B-Side Group.
Richard joined B-Side Group as a partner and served as GM of VINYL when it opened. He now serves as Director of Operations for the group. Prior to working with VINYL, he managed Brazwell’s Pub in Montford Park and Phil’s Tavern in Uptown. He’s a Charlotte native and attended UNCC.
A Charlotte native and member of the United States Bartenders’ Guild (USBG), Henry builds all of the beverage programs for all B-Side Group Concepts. Most recently, he served as Beverage Director at Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel, specifically Merchant & Trade and Angeline’s, and as a consultant for multiple bars in the area. Henry has run or played an intricate role in many bar and restaurant developments in the city over the years.
A Johnson & Wales University alum with more than 20 years of experience, Vince has trained under Michelin-starred chefs at Melisse and Charcoal Venice in L.A., appeared on “BeatBobby Flay" and led standout kitchens across Charlotte, including Supperland, Haberdish, Zeppelin, Angeline’s, BAKU and The Jimmy. Known for his ingredient-first philosophy, livefire techniques and passion for the Queen City, Vince is helping shape the next wave of hospitality in his hometown.
